Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and support, with opportunities for growth. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and offers a pay range of $18–24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
• Monitor progress and document behaviors and learning outcomes
• Collaborate with BCBA and clinical team to adjust interventions as needed
