Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide clinic and home-based therapy sessions for clients exhibiting severe behaviors and autism. The role includes direct support, data collection, and collaboration with treatment teams.

Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant program and possess ABA experience. Training will be provided in crisis management. The position offers starting pay of $26-$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Some ABA experience and at least two years of experience with adolescents and/or adults with profound disabilities including autism.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support participants diagnosed with autism and severely challenging behavior.
• Assist BCBAs with behavior assessments and skill acquisition plans.
• Teach socially appropriate behavior identified in treatment plans.
