Job summary

Kona Medical Consulting is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Burton, Michigan. The RBT will implement individualized treatment plans and provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in various settings.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience working with children, and preferably RBT certification. This role offers competitive pay of $16.50 - $20.00 per hour based on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Position Overview

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technician (BT) works directly with clients to implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and making a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in center-based and in-home settings.
• Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior.
• Support skill acquisition in communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and compassionate interactions with clients and families.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Attend required training, supervision, and team meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification with support).
• Experience working with children preferred (ABA, autism, education, childcare, or related fields).
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed.
• Ability to pass background checks and required clearances.

Location & Pay

Center-Based & In-Home Opportunities.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience).
