Job summary

FirstSteps for Kids, Inc. is hiring to support children with autism in a hands-on behavioral health role. The position offers paid RBT training and certification, plus mentorship as you gain clinical skills through one-on-one work with kids.

You will start at $23–$25 per hour DOE, with $1/hour raises through Instructor Development Bundles, and opportunities across 7 Southern California locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or in educational/clinical settings is helpful.
• Willingness to pursue RBT certification; employer pays for training.

Responsibilities

• Assist one-on-one with children with autism in clinical sessions.
• Support training and mentorship throughout program onboarding.
• Help collect and document behavioral data to track progress.
