Job summary

Advocates is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement ABA educational and treatment programs for clients aged 1 to 22 in home, ABA Center, and community settings, under the direction of the clinical team. A Behavior Analyst will supervise and support in applying strategies to foster independence and data collection according to prescribed measures.

The role involves data collection, collaboration with families and guardians, and participation in treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or RBT credential or higher education; 6 months relevant experience if using HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment programs with individuals aged 1–22 in home, center, and community settings.
• Collect data as prescribed by the Behavior Analyst using various measurement systems.
• Support in training new staff and provide feedback to coworkers.
• Coordinate with the Behavior Analyst to review family concerns and scheduling.
• Promote independence through guided teaching and self-care activities.
