Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will learn and apply evidence-based techniques to improve communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. The role involves standing, walking, and assisting children up to 50 pounds, with a focus on safety and teamwork. Pay ranges from $20 to $29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to work in a team.
• 21+ years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child’s goals.
