Job summary

Florida Austism Center, part of the BlueSprig family of companies, seeks compassionate individuals for Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) roles in Florida. Training provided, active RBT bonus, and mentorship available. Full-time hours, Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with potential Saturdays.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching and getting on/off the floor frequently.
• Must obtain Florida Driver License before end of training.
• Fingerprinting for Florida Medicaid is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in center-based and/or home-based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills to children with autism.
• Work one-on-one or in small group settings with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops for continued professional development.
• Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards.
