Job summary

BlueSprig Florida Autism Center is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy in center and home settings. You will teach communication, social, and self-help skills, work 1:1 or in small groups, and collect progress data under on-site BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently.
• Passion for helping children and families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Florida Driver License before end of training.
• Fingerprinting for Florida Medicaid is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in center-based and/or home-based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills to children with autism.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops for ongoing development.
• Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards.
