Finni Health (YC W23) is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) in Chaparral, NM. This in-person role supports BCBA-delivered ABA care in-home for children, collecting data and implementing interventions.

The position offers paid training, mileage reimbursement, and potential RBT certification assistance. A bilingual candidate who is at least 18, with a high school diploma and reliable transportation, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and a passion for helping children with special needs.
• Active CPR certification.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Comfort using tablets and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst.
• Attend team meetings.

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life‑changing ABA care in‑home. You’ll work one‑on‑one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

What You'll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field
• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
• Reliable Transportation
• Active CPR certification (Preferred)
• RBT certification: (Preferred but not required)
• This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real‑time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.
• Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification

• CPR Certification (Required)
• RBT certification (Preferred but not required)

Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers.
