Job summary

Finni Health - New Mexico is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA intervention under the supervision of a BCBA. You will collect data, help children learn new skills, and participate in weekly supervision and team meetings. Training is paid, with opportunities for RBT certification.

The role is part-time, in Chaparral, NM, with a 3:00pm–6:00pm schedule Monday through Friday. Must be 18+ and have transportation; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs.
• Reliable Transportation
• Active CPR certification (Preferred)
• RBT certification (Preferred)
• This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real-time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.
• Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

What You'll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

• Reliable Transportation

• Active CPR certification (Preferred)

• RBT certification: (Preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)

• RBT certification (Preferred but not required)

Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers.
