Job summary

California Autism Center and Learning Group is seeking Behavior Technicians to work with young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will implement evidence-based ABA plans in a supportive environment and track progress with daily data collection.

Responsibilities include direct 1:1 work, contributing to classroom goals, and maintaining a clean, organized center. Full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in ABA, psychology, child development is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use an Apple iPad daily for data tracking and communication.
• Availability of 16 hours per week in four-hour blocks within operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to collect data on skill acquisition and behavioral progress, recorded digitally on iPads.
• Reduce behavioral excesses by following structured treatment plans.
• Regularly communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
• During downtime, perform janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting toys and surfaces, dishwashing, trash disposal, stocking restrooms and kitchens.
