Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home or community settings, helping children and adults build skills for greater independence and communication. You will work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to follow data-driven behavior-change plans and document progress.

Competitive hourly pay of $20–$23 with benefits such as PTO, health insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement. Flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
College coursework in psychology/education/social work or human development; or at least one year of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.
Help individuals build social and communication skills.
Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
