Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support children with autism in client homes and community settings. You will use ABA-based play to teach real-life skills and collect data on progress during one-on-one sessions.

Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred; you can earn premium pay of $1.00/hour for bilingual-required sessions. We’ll train you on the job and assist with obtaining RBT certification.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Willingness to be trained in ABA-based methods and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support to children with autism.
• Use ABA techniques to teach real-life skills and record progress data.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients and staff.
• Travel to client homes and other locations as needed.

$500-$1000 bonus for candidates based on experience.

We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs.

Must have one of these availabilities, Monday – Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm.

You Will

• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly

You Have

• 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs - make sure this is on your resume or application!


• A heart for helping kids


• A calm, steady presence


• Eagerness and energy to play


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations


• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software


• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred
