Job summary

ABS Kids in California is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA therapy and one-on-one client sessions.

You will use play, patience, and data collection to teach real-life skills while ensuring a safe, supportive environment for the child and team.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Able to commute to client homes and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Use play, ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.

$500-$1000 bonus for candidates based on experience.

We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs.

Must have one of these availabilities, Monday – Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm.

You Have

• 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs - make sure this is on your resume or application!
• A heart for helping kids
• A calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred
