Strides ABA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in the Poughkeepsie area. Afternoon hours, on-site in Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, with a focus on individualized client care and progress tracking.

The role involves data collection, collaboration with BC BAs, and maintaining a safe therapy environment. Must be 18+, with HS diploma and potential bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation for community/home services.
• Clean background check required for working with children and families.
• Part-time availability (hours will vary).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with BCBA collaboration.
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices
