Job summary

Finni Health (South NM) is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in-home with children in Las Cruces, NM. This part-time role offers afternoon hours (3-7 PM) Monday through Friday, with supervision by a BCBA and opportunities for RBT certification support.

You will collect data, implement ABA strategies, and collaborate with families to help children acquire new skills in a caring home setting. Competitive pay and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent; ideally pursuing a career in the field.
• Experience working with children and a passion for working with children with special needs.
• Reliable transportation to families' homes and schedule.
• CPR certification is required; RBT certification preferred but not required.
• This role uses tablets and data collection software for real-time documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the BCBA.
• Attend team meetings.

Join Finni South New Mexico as an ABA Behavior Technician!

Job Type: Part-time (less than 30 hours per week)

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday Afternoon Availability (3-7PM)

Locations: Las Cruces, New Mexico

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting
• Collect and record data on child behaviors

What You'll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field
• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
• Reliable Transportation
• Active CPR certification (Preferred)
• RBT certification: (Preferred but not required)
• This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real-time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.
• Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification

• CPR Certification (Required)
