Job summary

Finni South New Mexico is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in-home with children and their families in Las Cruces, NM. You will collaborate with a BCBA to implement life-changing ABA care, collecting data and supporting skill development.

The role offers part-time hours (<30 per week), competitive pay of $16–$20 per hour, and paid training with RBT certification assistance. Some supervision and meetings are required weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and a passion for working with children with special needs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Active CPR certification (Preferred).
• RBT certification (Preferred but not required).
• Uses technology daily (tablets for data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms).
• Experience with data-collection platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst.
• Attend team meetings.

As an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

What You\'ll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

• Reliable Transportation

• This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real-time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.

• Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:
