Job summary

Cortica in San Diego seeks dedicated Behavior Technicians to deliver 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services for children with neurodevelopmental differences. You will work with BCBA-developed strategies to create meaningful progress for families and document data, collaborating with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, the ability to obtain BCAT within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferably on the autism spectrum.
• Willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days of start (training provided).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children.
• Implement positive behavior strategies with BCBA input.
• Use evidence-based practices to drive meaningful progress.
• Document session data to track treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
• Follow Cortica's crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting.
