Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support ABA therapy for youths with developmental disabilities in home or community settings. The role requires delivering 1:1 therapy under BCBA supervision and documenting progress.

Experience with developmental disabilities and flexibility for scheduling are needed; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Medical benefits are available for those who qualify.

Qualifications

• Two+ years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility with client scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA programs in home or community settings.
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Follow supervision of BCBA.
• Provide feedback on progress to supervisor.
• Teach communication, self-help and social skills.
• Track client progress and data.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.

Current availability needs: Monday - Friday

between the hours of 3:30pm - 7:30pm (2-4 hrs/day)

Cities include: La Habra & other cities within Orange County

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes and/or a community environment
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with a developmental disability in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to Company Policy and Procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information

Qualifications

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification, preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs
• Strong ability to use problem solving and critical thinking skills at all times
