Job summary

Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) offers in-home ABA-based therapy for young children with autism in the Chicago area. We seek a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children (ages 2-8) in clients’ homes, providing targeted instruction across communication, self-help, and motor skills in a highly supported team setting.

Part-time role with opportunities for growth; travel throughout Chicagoland is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or pursuit of degree in psychology, education, child development, or related field.
• Experience working with young children or children with disabilities.
• Must have a car and willingness to travel within Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in skill areas such as conversation, motor, self-help, and pre-academic skills.
• Integrate the child's family into therapy sessions.
• Data collection and data-based decisions.
• Learn strategies to teach children with developmental delays.
• Attend team meetings and coordinate with a team.
• Travel to the home of each client on the case load.

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00

Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) provides in-home therapy for young children with autism. The program is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

We are currently looking for a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children (ages 2-8) in a highly individualized and supported environment. All therapy sessions are carried out in the client's home. The Behavior Technician's duties and responsibilities include:

• Working with the child in a number of skill areas, such as conversation skills, fine/gross motor skills, self-help skills, and pre-academic skills.
• Integrating the child's family into therapy sessions.
• Data collection and making data-based decisions.
• Learning strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays.
• Attending team meetings and coordinating with a team.
• Traveling to the home of each client on the case load.
