Job summary

Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA-based therapy in clients' homes across Chicago and surrounding suburbs. You will work with children aged 2–8, focusing on communication, motor, self-help, and pre-academic skills.

You will collect data to guide decisions, involve families in sessions, and collaborate with a team of technicians during visits to client homes. A car and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• This job requires a car and willingness to travel to clients' homes.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, child development, or related field.
• Experience working with young children or children with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home settings to build skills (communication, motor, self-help, pre-academic).
• Collect data and make data-based decisions to guide therapy.
• Involve and coach families in therapy sessions for consistency and effectiveness.
• Attend team meetings and coordinate with a team of Behavior Technicians; travel to client homes.

Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) provides in-home therapy for young children with autism. The program is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

We are currently looking for a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children (ages 2-8) in a highly individualized and supported environment. All therapy sessions and team meetings are carried out in the client's home. We serve clients in the city as well as the suburbs. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Working with the child in a number of skill areas, such as conversation skills, fine/gross motor skills, self-help skills, and pre-academic skills.
• Integrating the child's family into therapy sessions.
• Data collection and making data-based decisions.
• Learning strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays.
• Attending team meetings and coordinating with a team of Behavior Technicians.
• Traveling to the home of each client on the case load.
