Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adolescents with ABA-based goals in in-home or clinic settings. You’ll work 1:1 to implement behavior plans, use play-based activities, track progress, and communicate with supervisors and scheduling staff.

This role offers paid training, ongoing coaching, weekly support, and clear opportunities for promotion in a teamwork-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within 15–20 mile radius.
• ABA or RBT experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
• Track progress and document session notes.
• Communicate with supervisors and scheduling team.
