Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children and adolescents. You will use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills, following BCBA-designed plans.

No ABA experience is required; paid training will prepare you to become an RBT, with weekly coaching and monthly trainings to support growth and advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• Patient, reliable, and compassionate individuals.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel within a 15–20 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
• Track progress and document session notes.
• Communicate with supervisors and scheduling team.
