Job summary

AKABA is seeking an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to provide 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services for children with ASD. Sessions occur after school, typically 3–4 hours, at the client’s home, in the community, or at our center. Assignments are local to your address or school location.

You’ll work under a BCBA supervision, with families to support collaboration, and you’ll collect data electronically. A supportive team and ongoing training accompany a smaller caseload.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • Valid Driver's License (Required).
  • Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Ability to attend an initial orientation.
  • Timely and organized.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations.

Overview - About the ABA Position:

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location

Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).
