Qualifications

• One year experience in ABA, mental health, rehab, or education of students with disabilities.
• High school diploma or GED; Parapro test can be administered by Renhill.
• BCI & FBI background checks completed within the past 12 months; ODE permit assistance available.

Job Description

Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work one-on-one with special needs students as a Behavior Technician on a permanent, full-time basis at Springfield Local Schools in Holland, Ohio for the 2026-2027school year.

A Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional with specialized training primarily responsible for the direct implementation of skill scquisition and behavior reduction plans. The role of the Behavior Technician is to provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors throughout the school setting.

This position offers a set schedule, Monday – Friday, during the hours of roughly 7am – 3:45pm, depending on the school.

Requirements

• One year experience in applied behavior analysis, mental health, drug and alcohol rehab, education of students with disabilities, or another related field
• High school diploma/GED or have passed the official Parapro Assessment. Renhill can administer this test at our office!
• BCI & FBI background checks
  • Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
  • Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them. Call to make an appointment.
• Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
  • Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed.
  • Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education.
