Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is hiring a Home & Community Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings under BCBA supervision. You’ll work across home, school, and community environments, building skills and reducing challenging behaviors with play-based strategies.

The role offers a full-time weekday schedule, extensive training, ongoing supervision, and clear paths for growth into leadership and advanced clinical roles within a nationwide organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
  • Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50lbs, bending, kneeling, squatting)

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development, behavior reduction, and meaningful progress-while adapting to different settings throughout your day.

This role is ideal for individuals who value variety, independence, and building strong relationships with families and teams.

Pay Range
  • Hourly Rate: $2100 - $26.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Additional factors that may increase starting pay include:
  • Prior experience working in ABA or related behavioral health settings
  • Higher levels of education or relevant coursework
  • Fluency inadditionallanguages that support the families we serve
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., RBT certification)
Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
  • Minimum age of 18
  • High School diploma or GEDrequired
  • Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
  1. Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
  2. Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
  3. Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, elopement, or self-injurious behaviors
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
  • Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
  • Comfort working across multiple settings (home, school, community)
  • No prior ABA experiencerequired- we train you
