Job summary

Centriaautism in Gladstone, Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. The role requires patience, compassion, teamwork, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, and CPR/First Aid and TB

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test required (if not on file).
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support progress toward goals.
