Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Culpeper, VA seeks a Behavior Technician II to empower individuals with IDD and BH challenges. You will run daily programs, deliver therapeutic interventions, and assist with personal care to prevent crises within the Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home.

You will work with families, clinicians, and crisis services to ensure seamless support for participants. Full-time role with a $2,000 sign-on bonus, shift-based scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with IDD/Behavioral Health disorders is required.
• Ability to obtain QMHP trainee status within 30 days of hire.
• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for agency work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities for participants.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and support to reduce hospitalization risk.
• Assist with personal care and coordinate with primary care providers and families.
• Collaborate with community crisis services to ensure comprehensive support.
