Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. in California is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays in home, clinic, or school settings.

Shifts are 2-3 hours, 2-8pm, with Monday-Sunday availability; $20–$24/hour plus a $150 onboarding bonus for Sonoma County applicants after 30 days. You’ll implement ABA plans under BCBA guidance, collect data, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or ABA paraprofessional training certificate
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
