Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team. As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. Your role will involve implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients improve their social, communication, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA
Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress
Assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment and behavior plans
Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies
Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records
Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions
Conduct structured teaching sessions based on the principles of ABA
Requirements:
Prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus
Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices
