Job summary

Step Up Family Services seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) for center-based settings. You will implement individualized ABA programs for children with ASD under BCBA supervision, delivering 1:1 therapy and recording progress data.

Responsibilities include applying behavior intervention plans, data collection, skill acquisition support, and collaborating with families and the clinical team to promote skill generalization across environments.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • RBT certification preferred; may be required within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or centers as needed.
  • Must pass background checks including criminal history and abuse registry screenings.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, kneel, and sit on the floor for extended periods.

  • Provide reinforcement, prompting, and other ABA techniques in accordance with the client's treatment plan
  • Maintain professional and ethical conduct in accordance with BACB guidelines (if applicable)
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times

Position Summary
