Job summary

Caravel Autism Health in Dubuque, IA is seeking a full-time Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children ages 18 months to 6 years. You will work under a BCBA and receive paid training to become an RBT.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Reliability—attend scheduled hours and manage admin tasks.
• Resilience and compassion on tough days.
• Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services; experience with children is a plus.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days; we’ll prepare you.
• Physical readiness: lift up to 35 pounds and be active with children.

Responsibilities

• Delivering ABA therapy 1:1 under supervision of a BCBA.
• Building skills through play and connection.
• Tracking progress and documenting sessions.
• Creating a safe, positive environment for each child.
• Prepare for RBT certification within 45 days.
