About Hand Over Hand LLC

At Hand Over Hand, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. As a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, we partner with families to empower children with autism and developmental disabilities. Our work is deeply mission-driven: we’re here to make a difference in the lives of children and their communities.

Our culture is collaborative, supportive, and purpose-filled. We celebrate growth of our team, of our families, and of ourselves. If you’re passionate about early childhood development and want to do meaningful, hands‑on work that truly changes lives, you’ll feel right at home here.

Why This Role Matters

This isn’t just another clinical role, it’s an opportunity to be a steady, positive presence in a child’s everyday world. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with children in childcare centers, homes, and community settings, helping them build communication, social, behavioral, and adaptive skills that support independence and inclusion.

Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll bring individualized treatment plans to life in natural, play‑based environments, helping children succeed during real routines, peer interactions, and daily activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Support children where they learn and play: Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group ABA services in childcare and community‑based settings.
  • Build meaningful skills: Help children develop communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
  • Promote inclusion: Embed learning opportunities into play, routines, and peer interactions in natural environments.
  • Ensure consistency and safety: Collaborate with childcare staff, families, and clinical leadership to provide high‑quality, ethical care.
  • Grow professionally: Receive ongoing training, supervision, and feedback to strengthen your clinical skills and confidence.
What You’ll Own & Elevate
  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Use evidence‑based strategies such as natural environment teaching (NET), discrete trial training (DTT), prompting, and reinforcement.
  • Collect accurate data on skill acquisition and behavior goals during sessions.
  • Document session notes and progress updates in a timely, compliant manner.
  • Communicate observations and progress with supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and required trainings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards at all times.
Who You Are
  • Compassionate, patient, and energized by working with young children.
  • Comfortable in active, fast‑paced environments like childcare centers and community settings.
  • Open to coaching and eager to learn, grow, and refine your skills.
  • A reliable team player who values collaboration, consistency, and follow‑through.
  • Mission‑driven and motivated to make a real difference in children’s lives.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 120 days of employment (required).
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Experience in childcare, preschool, or school‑based settings (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to pass background checks, clearances, and health screenings required by state regulations and childcare centers.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Competitive Salary (with OT Eligibility): Based on experience and location.
  • Supportive clinical supervision: Ongoing guidance from experienced BCBAs.
  • Professional development: Paid training, supervision, and opportunities for growth.
  • Meaningful work: Everything you do helps children gain skills that last a lifetime.
  • Collaborative culture: Work alongside passionate clinicians who value teamwork and compassion.
  • Purpose & pride: Be part of a team that celebrates progress, big and small, every single day.
