Job summary

Kaleidoscope ABA Therapy Services in Newark, DE is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our center-based team. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision, focusing on behavioral, daily living, and social skills for children with disabilities.

We welcome candidates with a HS Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of related experience; RBT certification is required for PA applications. Roles include long periods of standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and floor interaction as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• 6 months of ABA experience preferred.
• Must be able to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs) and work with children on the floor.
• Pennsylvania applications: must be an RBT.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch and be on feet for long periods.

Position Description

We are seeking compassionate Autism Support Specialists, BTs, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct treatment and ABA therapy. Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the BT is responsible for working 1:1 with children implementing specific treatment plans designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, daily living, social, and community skills. With training, the R/BT will perform appropriate management to ensure the child's safety.

• " Center-based opportunities throughout NJ/PA/DE, MA, VA, CT and AZ!

Required Experience and Education

• " Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED
• " Minimum of one (1) year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• - 6 Months of ABA Experience (preferred).
• " Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• " Pennsylvania Applications: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• " It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
• " Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, up to 50 lbs, on occasion.

Note: This role requires the ability to spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
