Job Opportunity: Behavior Technician at L.I.F.E.

We are hiring entry to experienced level Behavior Technicians (BT) for San Joaquin County at The Learning Institute for Functional Education (L.I.F.E.). We offer various incentives such as attendance bonuses, gift cards, and career advancement opportunities.

Applicants are required to become RBT certified after hiring. We provide resources including a free 40-hour RBT course, competency assessment, supervision hours, and support. Certification must be completed within 60 days, with exam scheduling by 90 days.

Pay and Benefits

Pay ranges from $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 in clients' homes and community settings

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Negative TB test and criminal background clearance
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to travel within the county
• Willing to obtain RBT certification

• Experience with individuals with disabilities
• BA/BS degree in a related field

Schedule and Availability

Sessions are approximately 3 hours. Preference for candidates available afternoons and evenings (3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Mon-Fri). Exact schedules vary based on client needs.
