Job summary

Northway Academy, a part of the Sevita family, provides center-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities. Sevita believes every person deserves to live well and a fulfilling career.

You’ll join a mission-driven team in Sartell, MN, and contribute to therapy plans that support growth and independence for the children we serve. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work Monday–Friday daytime shifts, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• ASL communication preferred.
• Graduate program or master's in mental health required for Level 1; bachelor's in behavioral health or related field with 6,000 hours ABA experience required for Level 1.
• Level 2 requires specific degrees or high school diploma with required supervised hours and/or tribal language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Support children with autism through early intervention programs.
• Implement therapy plans and behavior strategies.
• Teach skills for communication, self-care, and social interaction.
• Help manage behaviors and support transitions to school settings.

Behavior Technician

Northway Academy - Sartell, MN

Preferred Qualification:

Ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language (ASL).

Shifts Available (Monday-Friday)

Part-Time: 12pm-5pm or 530pm

What You'll Do

• Support children with autism through early intervention programs
• Implement therapy plans and behavior strategies
• Teach skills for communication, self-care, and social interaction
• Help manage behaviors and support transitions to school settings

Qualifications (must meet one* from Level 1 or Level 2*)

Level 1 ($20-$21/hr)

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master's degree in a mental health field
• Obtained a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and have 6,000 hours of paid/clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services

Level 2 ($18-$19/hr)

• Enrolled in OR hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)
• Hold an associate's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy) and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)
• Possess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (equivalent to 2 years of full-time experience, including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)
• Fluent in a non-English speaking language or certified by a tribal nation
