Join us as a Behavior Technician at Tutor Me Education

Tutor Me Education, a leading provider in primary and secondary education, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Behavior Technicians & Tutors to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and dynamic environments where students can learn and grow.

As a Tutor, you will work with students with special needs, helping them achieve academic success. Your responsibilities include assisting students with daily activities, providing moral support, and offering 1:1 instruction at their homes. We are hiring for multiple positions. Job Details

• Tutoring takes place at the student's home or preferred location
• Mostly Monday through Friday afternoons
• Earn $25-$35 per hour
• Approximately 10-20 hours per month

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students who have special education needs
• Develop customized lesson plans and teaching strategies aligned with each student's IEP
• Adapt instructional methods, materials, and assessments to meet individual learning styles
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting techniques as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams for a cohesive educational experience
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment supporting emotional and behavioral development
• Stay updated on best practices in special education and incorporate them into your teaching

Requirements

• Ability to commute to/from Riverside, CA
• Previous experience with special education or working with students with learning disabilities (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, focusing on student questions and comments
• Ability to pass a background check if required
