Our FULL TIME Behavior Technician role offers CLINIC and HOME BASED therapy sessions for clients exhibiting severe behaviors. Clients also receive ABA services in community settings as appropriate.

Behavior Technician 3 (BT3): Starting pay $28/hr

Responsibilities

What we are looking for:

• A passion for providing therapy services
• Experience working with individuals with special needs and an interest in behavioral health
• Proof of immunizations and TB clearance
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

• Ability to lift, carry, and load/unload toys and materials for home visits. Frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting to observe, assess, and interact with participants.

Work hours: Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon shifts available. Both part-time and full-time options.

Specific duties:

• Supporting participants with autism and challenging behaviors of all ages, including aggression, property destruction, self-injury, and feeding issues.
• Providing services at a 2:1 staff-to-participant ratio in clinics, homes, and community settings. Initial services often start at the Center, then extend to home or community based on family and team assessments.
• Collecting behavioral data through direct observation during appointments divided into treatment intervals.
• Assisting BCBAs with behavior assessments and skill acquisition plans, including functional analyses and preference assessments.
• Teaching socially appropriate behaviors as per treatment plans, maintaining high treatment fidelity.
• Participating in weekly team meetings (~45-60 mins) to provide data-driven input within a behavior analytic framework.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• BT 3: Master's Degree or enrollment in a relevant Master's program, or coursework meeting BCBA requirements, plus 2 years ABA experience preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.

Experience:

• At least two years of ABA experience with individuals with autism or related disabilities preferred, especially with high-intensity challenging behaviors.
• 3-5 years of experience with high-intensity behaviors is preferred.
