Job summary

Dominion Care is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with students facing academic, behavioral, emotional, and physical challenges. You will deliver evidence-based therapeutic support and help monitor progress in a therapeutic classroom.

The role requires at least two years in child development and a high school diploma. The company offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Two years experience in child development, preferably in a day school setting.
  • A High School Diploma is required with the stated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Reinforce and provide positive behavior support to individuals or small groups in a special education setting.
  • Observe and report behavior to teachers and provide emotional support and guidance.
  • Set up work areas and prepare materials; operate educational equipment as needed.
  • Maintain records, attendance, and related files; assist as substitute when needed.
  • Ensure student health and safety following health rules and regulations.
