Imagination ABA Therapy is a BCBA-owned and operated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider, dedicated to delivering high-quality, ethical, and individualized services to children and families throughout New Jersey. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our certified behavior analysts and other professionals to provide evidence-based ABA therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs.
As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior plans and provide direct therapy services to clients
Conduct behavioral assessments, collect data, and report on client progress to the BCBA and other stakeholders
Develop and maintain a strong rapport with clients and their families, providing support and guidance throughout the therapy process
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based strategies and techniques
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and enhance clinical skills
Implement and modify behavior plans as needed, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met and progress is measured
Use positive reinforcement techniques, such as verbal praise, gestures, and rewards, to encourage desired behaviors
Collect and record data on client behaviors, using this information to inform treatment decisions and track progress
Provide ongoing support and coaching to clients and their families, empowering them to generalize skills and maintain progress outside of therapy sessions
Maintain accurate and thorough records of therapy sessions, including client data, progress notes, and treatment plans
RBT certification preferred but not required
Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, preferably in an ABA setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes, schools, and other settings as needed
