Job summary

Modern Support Services seeks a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one client support in person. The role focuses on implementing BIPs, collecting progress data, and maintaining professional client relationships.

Overview

Behavior Technician (BT) role to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and provide direct, one-on-one support to clients. This position does not include Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the client's IPP and Supported Living Services Assessment.
  • Collect accurate and consistent data on client progress and behavior.
  • Maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Communicate observations and progress updates to your supervisor.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings and required training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Valid Behavior Technician (BT) certification required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or related conditions preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to implement behavioral strategies consistently and effectively.
What You Need to Apply
  • Be 21+ years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid CA Driver's License.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Previous experience in human services is a plus.
