Job summary

TES in Los Angeles is hiring Behavior Technicians for part-time work (10–20 hours per week) in the Greater LA area, with potential to grow to full-time. No experience required; paid training and a mentor are provided to support success from day one.

Locations include LA, Glendale, and DTLA. Pay range is $19.50–$25.13/hr, based on experience and credentials. This role is ideal for gaining hands-on ABA experience in home settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Access to a mobile phone and internet (offsite work).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and minimum 25/50k liability coverage.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check.
• Current TB Test and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients.
• Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans.

What You’ll Do:

• Ability to travel to multiple locations

• Current TB Test

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such ashomes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
