To help you prepare for the role, MeBe offers one of the top ABA training programs using the Vincent Carbone method. We will invest in two weeks of paid training to prepare you to pass your RBT exam. MeBe Family will also pair you with Supervisors to shadow, ask questions and guide you.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges.
As a Behavior Technician,
You will teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to children with autism at MeBe’s Learning Center and Camp Pendleton. You'll be required to receive a Camp Pendleton Base Pass.
You will follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to help increase the child's communication, self-help, social and play skills.
You will relay information on the child's progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.
At the end of each session, you will accurately record the child’s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your assigned tablet.
You will be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and insurance provider regulations.
You will help keep our workplace safe and organized.
You will assist children with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing.
You will help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.
You will voice questions, issues, and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment planning.
You will help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
You will positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
Consistent availability from Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts available.
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
RBT/CBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (without reasonable accommodations), see with prescription lenses, and hear with hearing aids.
Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferred.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to work with computers.
If residing in CA, AZ, or VA, must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients.
Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
Industry benchmarked, competitive pay based on experience and location.
Pay: $20-$24/hour, depending on experience.
Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Continuing education; MeBe’s Candidate Program for aspiring BCBAs and BCaBAs.
