Job summary

Kaleidoscope ABA Therapy Services is seeking compassionate Behavior Therapists to provide direct ABA therapy to children in Newark, DE. This role supports individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision and involves 1:1 work in a team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with children who have disabilities.
• Preferred: 6 months of ABA experience; PA applicants must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Must be able to meet demands of the job including long periods of standing/walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children.
• Implement treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA clinician.
• Assist with behavioral management, daily living, social and community skills.
• Ensure child safety and proper handling and positioning during sessions.

Position Description

We are seeking compassionate Autism Support Specialists, BTs, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct treatment and ABA therapy. Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the BT is responsible for working 1:1 with children implementing specific treatment plans designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, daily living, social, and community skills. With training, the R/BT will perform appropriate management to ensure the child's safety.

Required Experience and Education

• \" Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED
• \" Minimum of one (1) year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• - 6 Months of ABA Experience (preferred).
• \" Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• \" Pennsylvania Applications: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• \" It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
• \" Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, up to 50 lbs, on occasion.

Note: This role requires the ability to spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
