The Learning Institute for Functional Education (L.I.F.E.) is hiring for entry to experienced level Behavior Technicians (BT) for Stanislaus county! L.I.F.E. offers various employee incentives, such as an attendance bonus, opportunities to earn gift cards during work hours, and possibilities for career advancement.
We REQUIRE applicants to become RBT certified after being hired! There is a $2 RAISE and $250 BONUS upon certification. We provide resources to help you become certified, including a free 40-hour RBT course, free competency assessment, free supervision hours, and support throughout the process. The 40-hour course must be completed by the 60th day, and the exam scheduled by the 90th day.
Pay: $17-$24 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and education.
Summary:
L.I.F.E. utilizes principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to increase functional skills and decrease maladaptive behaviors in children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Behavior Technician will work directly with clients to implement behavior treatment plans overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role involves traveling within the county to work with clients in their homes, running target programs, collecting data, and creating a positive environment.
