Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to support children in in-home or clinic settings. You’ll receive paid training and have a clear path to becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as you grow with the team.

You’ll work afternoons, Monday–Friday with flexible hours, provide 1:1 support, use play-based activities to develop communication and life skills, and document progress as you travel within a 15–20 mile radius. No ABA experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel within a 15–20 mile radius.
• ABA or RBT experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
• Track progress and document session notes.
• Communicate with supervisors and scheduling team.

Schedule Requirements

• Afternoon availability (after school hours).
• At least 4 days per week.
• Occasional weekend availability may be requested.
