Tutor Me Education, a leading educational service provider in the primary and secondary education space, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Behavior Technicians & Tutors to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating safe, nurturing, and dynamic environments where students can learn and grow.

As a Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you will work with students with special needs and help them achieve academic success. Responsibilities include assisting students with daily activities, providing moral support, and delivering 1:1 instruction at their homes. Tutoring occurs in 100+ neighborhoods in Los Angeles (choose your area). We are hiring for multiple positions. Position Details

• Tutoring at student's home or preferred location
• Mostly Monday through Friday afternoons
• Earn $25-$35 per hour
• Approximately 10-20 hours per month

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students who have special education needs.
• Develop customized lesson plans aligned with each student's IEP.
• Adapt teaching methods, materials, and assessments to meet individual learning styles.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting techniques as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams.
• Maintain communication with parents/guardians about student progress.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment supporting emotional and behavioral development.
• Stay informed about best practices in special education and incorporate them into your teaching.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to commute to/from Los Angeles, CA
• Previous experience with special education and working with students with learning disabilities (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• At least a Bachelor's degree
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, focusing on student questions and comments
• Ability to pass a background check if required
