Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians in Ballwin, MO. We use ABA to help children on the autism spectrum, building communication and independence through 1:1 sessions and progress documentation.

No prior behavioral health experience is required; we offer paid training to become an RBT and promote professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work full-time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 client sessions following individualized treatment plans.
  • Document progress and promote development of skills.
  • Facilitate communication and independence in daily activities.
  • Participate in paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Work in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Caravel is looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians (BTs)! At Caravel, our BTs change lives daily. We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills. By joining our team, you will witness and contribute to life-changing milestones such as facilitating communication and enhancing independence in daily activities!
