Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years in a center-based ABA environment. You will deliver therapy under BCBA supervision, build skills through play, and track progress with our ABA technology.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM. We offer paid RBT training, a clear career path to BCBA, 401(k) matching, referral bonus, PTO and full health benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
• Reliability in showing up for scheduled hours and completing administrative tasks.
• Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services; experience with children is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism, in a center-based environment. Day to day, that means:

• Delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans
• Building skills through play, connection, and the kind of presence that helps a child feel safe enough to try
• Tracking progress and documenting sessions using ABA technology
• Creating a safe, positive environment for every child you work with
• Preparing for your RBT certification exam within your first 45 days

• No RBT? $18.24 - $20.00
• Obtained your RBT? Start at $19.19 for RBT 1 with potential to move up to $22.00 with progressions into Advanced ARBT

What we’re looking for:

• Full-time availability Monday-Friday, between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Reliability - showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks
• Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
• Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services - experience with children is a plus
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment - we'll prepare you
• Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed
