Autism Society of North Carolina in Asheville is looking to hire part-time Behavior Technicians for in-home positions throughout the Hendersonville, Weaverville, South Asheville, West Asheville, Candler, Arden, and Swannanoa areas. This entry-level position earns a competitive wage of $18 - $23 based on experience and education, plus mileage reimbursement.
We want to help you reach your goals! ASNC offers paid RBT training and certification, as well as meeting supervision requirements to maintain the RBT credential. If you are a student seeking your BCBA Credential, we provide FREE supervision and frequent unrestricted hours through ASNC's student supervision program.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
As a part-time Behavior Technician, you empower children, teenagers, and adults on the autism spectrum to be their best independent selves. Following a structured plan, you teach and support your participants in building various life skills, with supervision from a BCBA. Your days will be spent teaching clients important communication skills, how to play with peers, and other important life skills in the community, schools, or and home, all with a focus on helping them achieve their goals. You also keep track of client progress by collecting behavioral data during your sessions to help your supervisors make changes to care plans. You’ll love the rewarding feeling you get from seeing the direct impact you have in the lives and families of the people you serve!

WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time position is looking for people who can commit to at least 10 hours a week between Monday-Friday. Our greatest need is from the hours of 3:30-6:30 p.m. However, more hours and other time blocks are available to the right candidate. We have 3 shifts available, must be able to work same shift Monday through Friday. Consistent schedule required M-F. Morning (9:00-12:00), midday (12:00-3:00) and evening (3:00-6:00).
